An industry-leading contractor is delivering a major groundworks and civils scheme in Reading and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team with an immediate start.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the successful delivery of complex civil engineering works from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Overall management and delivery of large-scale groundworks and civils packages
- Programme planning, sequencing and progress monitoring
- Full commercial responsibility including budgets, valuations, variations and cost control
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and maintaining strong client relationships
- Driving performance to meet programme and commercial targets
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on groundworks and/or civils projects
- Strong background in programming/planning, commercial management, quality and safety
- Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- CSCS Black Card or NVQ Level 6 or 7 (essential)
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
