Site Agent – Infrastructure Project

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Agent to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Ramsgate.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering works while leading site operations in a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment.

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Monitor progress against programme and implement recovery plans where required.
  • Prepare and review RAMS, work programmes, and site documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage labour, plant, materials, and resources efficiently.
  • Support commercial activities, including cost control, variations, and reporting.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and regular progress meetings.
  • Maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Essential Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Temporary Works Coordinator.
  • NRSWA Supervisor.
  • Experience working on local authority or National Highways projects.
  • Knowledge of digital construction tools and site management software.
