Overview
Project Manager – Groundworks, RC Frame, Steel Frame & Cladding. Location: Manchester / Leeds / Newcastle (Relocation Required – Digs Provided). Salary: Competitive. Projects: £8M-£12M (Commercial & Industrial Builds). Start Date: ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Lead all site operations from pre-construction through to handover.
- Manage subcontractors across groundworks, RC, steel frame, and cladding packages.
- Chair and lead client-facing meetings, design coordination, and progress reviews.
- Produce and maintain construction programmes using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate health & safety, QA procedures, and logistics planning.
- Report directly to senior leadership with regular updates and forecasts.
Requirements
- 5+ years\’ experience as a Project Manager on major subcontractor-led builds.
- Strong technical knowledge of RC frames, steel structures, cladding, and civils.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and project reporting.
- Confident liaising with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Willing to relocate during project duration (digs covered).
- Background with specialist subcontractors or concrete/steel frame contractors preferred.
