About the Company: Our client is a highly respected Tier 1 principal contractor with a strong portfolio of landmark developments across London and the South East. They are currently delivering a prestigious £50 million high-rise residential scheme in Croydon, comprising RC frame construction through to full fit out.
The Role: As Project Manager, you will lead the on-site delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage a strong site team, liaise closely with the client and design teams, and report directly to the Construction Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all site operations from RC frame through to fit out and handover
- Manage the project programme, budget, and resources effectively
- Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships
- Drive progress meetings, reporting, and risk management
About You:
- Proven experience managing large-scale RC frame residential or mixed-use schemes (£30m+)
- Background working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Excellent technical knowledge across structure and fit out phases
- Able to start immediately or within short notice
- Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/D, Degree, SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid)
