Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major marine sheet piling project in Portsmouth. The works involve marine sheet piling installation, cofferdam construction, quay wall strengthening, and associated heavy civils works across a long-term programme of marine infrastructure projects.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day project delivery, ensuring programme, safety, quality, and commercial targets are achieved
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Ensure all marine and civils works are delivered in line with health & safety and environmental requirements
- Drive programme performance and maintain strong commercial awareness on site
- Coordinate marine operations and ensure works are completed safely within tidal and operational constraints
Project Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering marine civils, sheet piling, or waterfront infrastructure projects
- Strong background in heavy civils, marine construction, or port infrastructure environments
- SMSTS, CSCS, TWC
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
