We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor / Site Manager to oversee a large groundworks package alongside a smaller civils package on a busy project in East Hendred. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong coordination skills, a solid understanding of groundworks operations, and the ability to drive works safely and efficiently to programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across groundworks and civils packages
- Supervising subcontractors, plant, labour and deliveries
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
- Coordinating drainage, foundations, externals and associated civils works
- Maintaining site records, RAMS and health & safety standards
- Liaising with project management, engineers and clients
- Monitoring progress and resolving site issues proactively
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing large groundworks packages
- Strong understanding of drainage, foundations, roads and infrastructure works
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Ability to read drawings and manage programmes effectively
- Good communication and organisational skills
