Site Engineer – RC Frame Location: Norwich, Norfolk Duration: 12 months Start Date: Within 1 week Project: Reinforced Concrete (RC) Frame We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major construction project in Norwich, working on a reinforced concrete frame package. This is a 12-month position for an engineer with strong RC frame experience who can confidently manage engineering duties on site and work closely with the site management and construction teams. Requirements * Minimum 4 years’ UK construction experience * Essential: 4+ years’ experience working on RC frame projects * Strong setting-out and surveying skills * Experience with reinforced concrete structures and associated works * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings * Competent with relevant engineering/surveying equipment * Strong understanding of QA, ITPs and site documentation * Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a site team * Relevant engineering qualifications * Valid right to work in the UK Responsibilities * Setting out and surveying works on the RC frame * Checking dimensions, levels and alignment * Working from engineering drawings and specifications * Liaising with subcontractors, site management and design teams * Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification * Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation * Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with technical queries * Carrying out inspections and assisting with QA processes Package * 12-month contract * Start within 1 week * Norwich location * Competitive rate, depending on experience
