We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major highways infrastructure scheme based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a high-profile project.
Key Details:
- Location: Norwich
- Duration: 12 months
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate: 350 - 450 per shift (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Agent in the delivery of highways works packages
- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Maintain accurate site records, including RAMS, progress reports, and quality documentation
- Assist with planning, programming, and short-term lookahead schedules
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on highways or major infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of highways construction processes and standards
- SMSTS certification
- CSCS card (relevant level)
- First Aid qualification (preferred)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a site team
