We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a major highways package in Norwich, focusing on drainage works. This is a long-term contract opportunity on a high-profile infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes on site
- Oversee drainage installation works to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Review and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and ensure works meet required quality benchmarks
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions
- Maintain accurate QA records and reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer within highways or civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems and installation
- Familiarity with relevant standards and specifications (e.g. DMRB, MCHW)
- Experience with ITPs, QA documentation, and auditing
- CSCS card (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
