We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the earthworks and drainage packages on a highways scheme in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of earthworks and drainage packages on a highways scheme.
- Planning and coordinating site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Managing subcontractors, site teams and resources.
- Monitoring project progress against programme and identifying potential delays or issues.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate project records, reporting progress and managing project documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards.
- Liaising with the client, engineers and other project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on highways or civil engineering schemes.
- Strong experience managing earthworks and drainage packages.
- Excellent knowledge of construction planning, programme management and site delivery.
- Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and project resources.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Relevant civil engineering qualifications and health and safety certifications.
