We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a large and established contractor on an RC Frame project in Croydon, South London. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking for a long-term opportunity, with a strong and secure pipeline of local work and larger projects coming through.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager, assisting with the day-to-day running of the RC Frame project and supporting with site management, inductions, paperwork and general site coordination. This would suit someone looking to develop their experience and progress within a busy contractor, with further opportunities available on upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site.
  • Support with site inductions and briefings.
  • Assist with site paperwork and documentation.
  • Coordinate labour, materials and plant.
  • Monitor progress and quality of works.
  • Support with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Liaise with engineers, and the wider project team.
  • Assist with resolving day-to-day site issues.

Scope of Works

The project involves a standard RC Frame package, with the Assistant Site Manager supporting the Site Manager across the day-to-day delivery and coordination of the works.

Requirements

  • RC Frame experience preferred.
  • SMSTS – Essential.
  • Black CSCS Card / NVQ Level 6 – Essential.
  • First Aid – Desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
