We are seeking a Mechanical Site Manager for a firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects.

The Mechanical Site Manager will oversee all mechanical installation activities on-site, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical building services, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the mechanical works on-site including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and associated systems.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site teams to ensure smooth delivery of mechanical services.
  • Ensure works are completed according to drawings, specifications, and regulations.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and report any delays or issues to the Project Manager.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.
  • Attend and lead regular site meetings, providing technical guidance and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Manage and maintain site documentation including RAMS, permits to work, and progress reports.
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, and the client representative as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial office fit projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems in building services.
  • Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS card (Management level preferred).
  • First Aid qualification (desirable).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
