We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a wastewater treatment project in Manchester. This is a key site-based role, responsible for managing day-to-day operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard within a regulated water environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site activities on a live wastewater treatment site
- Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and direct labour
- Supporting the Project Manager with planning, programme, and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Managing RAMS, permits, and site documentation
- Coordinating works to meet programme and budget targets
- Liaising with the client, engineers, and stakeholders on site
- Managing quality, inspections, and site records
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Site Agent on civil engineering projects
- Experience on wastewater, sewage treatment, or utilities schemes essential
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology and sequencing
- SMSTS essential
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
