Mechanical Site Manager – Manchester We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a commercial construction project in Manchester. This is a long-term opportunity with a minimum of 6 months’ work, with an ASAP start available for the right candidate. The successful Mechanical Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on site, ensuring all installations are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards. The role will involve managing and coordinating mechanical subcontractors, supervising site teams, monitoring progress and ensuring works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings and health and safety requirements. You will work closely with the wider site management and project teams, coordinating mechanical activities with other trades to ensure the project runs smoothly and key programme dates are achieved. Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to manage site activities and resolve issues as they arise. Candidates must have proven experience working as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial projects and hold a valid SMSTS certificate. A strong understanding of mechanical construction and installation works, site health and safety procedures and subcontractor management is required. Candidates must be reliable, proactive and confident managing mechanical works in a busy commercial environment.
