We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major renewables project based in Maidstone. You’ll take ownership of projects from early planning through to construction and commissioning, working closely with technical, commercial, and stakeholder teams to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. This is a great opportunity to play a hands-on role in the UK’s energy transition while working on high-impact, future-facing infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of renewable energy projects
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Manage project risks, issues, and change control
- Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Track progress and report to senior leadership and clients
- Support procurement, contract management, and supplier performance
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes
About you
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within renewables, energy, infrastructure, or construction
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and priorities
- Experience working with contractors and technical teams
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Desirable:
- Experience in renewables/ civil projects
- SMSTS, CSCS, First aid
- Knowledge of UK planning, grid connection, or consenting processes
