Our client, a well-established and highly respected Groundworks & Civil Engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the Kent region.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering high-quality groundwork and infrastructure projects for leading residential developers and main contractors.
The Role
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple groundwork and civil engineering projects.
- Manage Site Managers and operational teams across several sites.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Monitor programme performance, commercial awareness and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site visits, ensuring compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the Groundworks and Civil Engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of residential groundworks and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
