We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor / Manager on a long-term contract, Outside IR35, to work on a major civils package on a large infrastructure project in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental requirements on site
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, client standards, and project policies
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety tours
  • Review and support RAMS and method statements
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
  • Support project teams in implementing safe systems of work
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, producing reports and corrective actions
  • Liaise with subcontractors, site management, and client representatives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role on major civils or infrastructure projects
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
  • Civils background
  • Ability to work autonomously in a site-based role
  • Relevant CSCS card

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • GradIOSH / CMIOSH
  • Experience on civils projects
