We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor / Manager on a long-term contract, Outside IR35, to work on a major civils package on a large infrastructure project in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental requirements on site
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, client standards, and project policies
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety tours
- Review and support RAMS and method statements
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
- Support project teams in implementing safe systems of work
- Investigate incidents and near misses, producing reports and corrective actions
- Liaise with subcontractors, site management, and client representatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role on major civils or infrastructure projects
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Civils background
- Ability to work autonomously in a site-based role
- Relevant CSCS card
Desirable:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- GradIOSH / CMIOSH
- Experience on civils projects
