My client is a leading civil engineering contractor who is currently seeking a Site Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of a major civils package on Sizewell C. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, working on a complex package of works including piling, reinforced concrete structures, and TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) operations.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out accurate setting out for piling, concrete, and associated civils works.
- Producing and maintaining setting out records.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and project specifications.
- Supporting TBM operations through surveying and engineering control activities.
- Conducting as-built surveys and producing relevant documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of technical documentation, work packs, and inspection test plans.
Requirements
- CSCS Card.
- Proven experience setting out piling and reinforced concrete works.
- Experience using GPS, robotic total stations, and surveying equipment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and as-built surveys.
- Experience working alongside tunnelling or TBM operations is highly desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
