We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee works on a commercial retrofit project within a live environment. The role requires strong site leadership, coordination with trades, and strict adherence to safety and operational continuity.

Key Requirements

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential
  • Enhanced DBS check – required
  • Proven experience supervising electrical works in live commercial settings (e.g. offices, retail, healthcare, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and permit-to-work systems
  • Ability to manage electricians, subcontractors, and coordinate with site management
  • Experience with retrofit / refurbishment projects preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day electrical installation works
  • Ensure compliance with H&S and project specifications
  • Coordinate works to minimise disruption in a live environment
  • Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
  • Liaise with main contractor, clients, and other trades

Certifications (preferred but not always essential)

  • ECS / JIB Gold Card
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • First Aid at Work
