We are currently recruiting for an experienced Land Surveyor to join a major highways infrastructure project in Scotland, supporting the delivery of a significant civil engineering scheme. The Role Carrying out land and engineering surveys across the project. Undertaking topographical surveys and establishing site control networks. Setting out and surveying highways, earthworks, drainage and structures. Conducting detailed level, alignment and dimensional checks. Completing as-built surveys and producing accurate survey data. Using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and relevant surveying software. Processing survey data and preparing reports, drawings and records. Liaising with Site Engineers, Site Agents and the wider engineering team. Ensuring all survey work meets project specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements. Requirements Previous experience as a Land Surveyor on civil engineering, highways or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of topographical surveying, site control and engineering surveys. Competent in using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and surveying software. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process survey data accurately. Relevant surveying qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience. A full UK driving licence is advantageous. Contract Details Rate: £350-£450 per day, depending on experience. Start: ASAP.
