We are looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E services on a major commercial construction project. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensure health & safety compliance, and drive the project through to successful completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team delivering high quality commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all mechanical and electrical works on site from installation through to commissioning and handover
  • Coordinate M&E subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager
  • Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings
  • Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and RAMS
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging activities
  • Coordinate with other trades and the wider construction team
  • Support commissioning, testing, and client handover processes
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations
  • Experience managing HVAC, pipework, electrical distribution, containment, lighting, and associated systems
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • First Aid certification preferred
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
