My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Ganger / Supervisor to help deliver a Thames Water project, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ganger with a strong civils and water background to join an established project team.

Ganger Responsibilities

  • Toolbox talks
  • Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
  • Managing day-to-day site activities
  • Allocating labour, plant and materials
  • Client liaison
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
  • Maintaining quality standards and site records
  • Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project

Ganger Requirements

  • CSCS
  • SSSTS preferred
  • Previous experience working on Thames Water or water infrastructure projects
  • Strong civil engineering background
  • Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
  • Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
  • EUSR Water Hygiene preferred
  • IT literate
  • Full UK driving licence
