We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to work on a major highways scheme in Northampton. This is a long-term contract offering 18 months of work with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:- Day-to-day site engineering duties on a highways project
- Setting out, quality assurance, and ensuring works meet specification
- Managing subcontractors and supervising site activities
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Liaising with site management, designers, and the client team
- Supporting delivery of works to programme and budget
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on highways/infrastructure schemes
- Strong setting-out and technical capability
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- SMSTS and First Aid (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and lead site engineering activities
