My client is a leading contractor in the Steel frame and Groundworks sector. We are currently recruiting a Senior Engineer to complete a 12 month contract.
Qualifications
- Senior Engineer with experience on large industrial, logistics or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, steel frame and external works.
- Experience managing QA procedures and ITPs.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Valid CSCS Card.
- EUSR or TWC is essential
- Proficient with Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site engineering activities, including setting out and technical support.
- Review and coordinate drawings, specifications and design information.
- Oversee quality assurance procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and temporary works.
- Produce and maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings and technical documentation.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.
- Monitor quality standards across all engineering activities.
- Support the Site and Project Management team with technical expertise.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Coordinate subcontractors and resolve technical issues on site.
