Site Manager / Construction Manager – Glasgow | Immediate Start | Minimum 2-Year Project Our client, a leading contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the UK, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager to join a major project in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with a minimum of two years' work, offering continuity on a high-profile scheme from start through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. An immediate start is available for the right individual. We're particularly keen to speak with candidates who have a strong background in concrete construction, although applicants with experience delivering large-scale construction or civil engineering projects will also be considered. Previous involvement with groundworks and precast concrete installation would be highly advantageous. The Role: * Overseeing day-to-day site operations. * Managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. * Coordinating activities across multiple work fronts. * Ensuring health and safety compliance at all times. * Liaising with the project team, engineers, and client representatives. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on major construction or civil engineering projects. * A background in concrete construction would be highly beneficial. * Experience in groundworks and precast concrete installation is highly desirable. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
