We are currently looking for an experienced Foreman to join a well-established groundworks contractor with an ongoing project in Wiltshire. This role offers long-term work on a variety of civils projects, with a focus on external works and off-site drainage.
Role responsibilities:
- Supervising groundworks gangs across multiple sites
- Managing external works and off-site drainage installations
- Coordinating with site management and subcontractors
- Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to spec
- Maintaining site records, health & safety, and progress reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Foreman on groundwork/civils projects
- Strong knowledge of external works and deep drainage
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black), and First Aid (preferred)
- Able to read technical drawings and manage teams on site
- Good communication and leadership skills
Gangs welcome: Applicants who can bring a gang of experienced operatives (machine drivers, pipelayers, and groundworkers) will be strongly considered. Reliable, skilled teams ready to start will be prioritised.
Start date: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing, long-term work
