My client are a regional groundworks and civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a foreman to help deliver an ongoing civils scheme being delivered in Kent. As the foreman on site you will be responsible for overseeing groundworks, drainage and reinforced concrete works.
Foreman responsibilities:
- Working alongside and reporting to the site manager.
- Managing plant, labour and materials.
- Putting labour to work.
- Tool box talks.
- Managing health and safety.
- Ensuring works are being completed in accordance to RAMs and job specification.
- Record keeping.
- Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
Foreman requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- CSCS card - Gold, white or black.
- SSSTS/ SMSTS.
- First aid.
- Appointed person - Advantageous.
- Experience with drainage, reinforced concrete and heavy civils.
- IT literate.
- Full UK driving licence.
