Key Responsibilities: * Project Oversight: As the Electrical Supervisor, lead and manage the entire lifecycle of electrical installations and systems on large-scale data centre sites. This includes planning, execution, and delivery to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and safety. * Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical work is completed in line with industry standards, project specifications, and within agreed timelines. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks as the Electrical Supervisor to maintain stringent quality control. * Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams as the Electrical Supervisor to ensure seamless project flow. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all parties to avoid delays and resolve any on-site challenges promptly. * Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site as the Electrical Supervisor. Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant legislation. * Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support to on-site teams as the Electrical Supervisor, ensuring that all technical issues are resolved efficiently. Act as the go-to expert for complex problem-solving and decision-making. * Reporting and Documentation: Regularly update senior management on project progress, potential risks, and any site-related issues as the Electrical Supervisor. Maintain detailed records of site activities, safety inspections, and project milestones. Qualifications and Experience: * Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Electrical Supervisor, with a significant portion of that experience in data centre projects. Experience in managing large-scale, high-value electrical installations is highly desirable. * Educational Background: A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Additional certifications in project management or health and safety are advantageous. * Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, backup systems, and high-voltage installations. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, including BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and other relevant legislation. * Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team as an Electrical Supervisor, with strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proven track record of resolving conflicts, managing team dynamics, and delivering projects on time and within budget. * Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as an Electrical Supervisor, with the ability to quickly assess complex situations and develop effective solutions. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Multi-tasking and Pressure Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality as an Electrical Supervisor.
