Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead on a Battery Storage Plant installation project in Scotland. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical background and previous hands-on experience managing battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from installation through to commissioning. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day site activities on a Battery Storage installation project. * Lead site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. * Coordinate electrical installation works with subcontractors and internal teams. * Support and manage commissioning activities in collaboration with the project and technical teams. * Monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance on-site. * Report to the Project Manager and contribute to regular project updates. Requirements: * Proven experience managing Battery Storage or similar renewable energy infrastructure projects. * Electrical bias – ideally with an electrical engineering qualification. * Experience overseeing commissioning activities. * Strong understanding of health & safety and CDM regulations. * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. * SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification preferred. Desirable: * Experience working within an ICP (Independent Connection Provider) environment. * Knowledge of HV systems and grid connections.
