Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate a commercial electrical project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, proven project management skills, and the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of electrical construction for commercial projects
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
  • Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Track project progress and prepare status reports
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders
  • Resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during the construction process
  • Manage procurement of materials and labour
  • Monitor project costs and maintain profitability

Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Valid ECS card
  • SMSTS
  • Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in electrical project management for commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, commercial building systems, and construction safety practices
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
