Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate a commercial electrical project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, proven project management skills, and the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of electrical construction for commercial projects
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Track project progress and prepare status reports
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders
- Resolve issues and conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Manage procurement of materials and labour
- Monitor project costs and maintain profitability
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications:
- Valid ECS card
- SMSTS
- Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in electrical project management for commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, commercial building systems, and construction safety practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
