My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Manager for a major Data Centre project based in Scotland. This is a long-term opportunity working on a high-value, fast-paced technical build.
Mechanical Manager Responsibilities:
- Reporting to and working closely with the Project Director.
- Overseeing all mechanical packages on the Data Centre project.
- Managing subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered on time and to specification.
- Coordinating with design teams, consultants, and other site management.
- Ensuring all mechanical works are compliant with industry standards and project requirements.
- Leading progress meetings, producing reports, and tracking programme milestones.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting commissioning activities and ensuring successful handover.
Mechanical Manager Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Manager on large-scale MEP projects.
- Data Centre experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical systems.
- Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive project delivery.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant mechanical qualifications.
