We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a long-term residential housing project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure and housing works on a major development.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for housing plots, roads, kerbs, and drainage works
- Ensuring all works are completed accurately and in line with design specifications
- Carrying out quality assurance checks and maintaining QA records
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors on site
- Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager / Project Manager
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assisting with as-built surveys and site documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience working on residential housing developments
- Strong setting out experience using GPS and total station equipment
- Knowledge of roads, kerbing, drainage, and infrastructure works
- Good understanding of QA procedures and site documentation
- CSCS card essential
- SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
- Full UK driving licence preferred
