We are a well-established M&E contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical installations across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. Due to ongoing projects and expanding workload, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Duct Fitter to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and secure ductwork systems (rectangular, circular, and oval) to HVAC specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Measure, cut, and fit ductwork using hand and power tools
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations
- Liaise effectively with supervisors and other trades on site
- Carry out quality checks and rectify any defects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Duct Fitter in commercial or industrial settings
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Valid CSCS card (or equivalent)
- Own tools and PPE
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Ductwork Installation (desirable but not essential)
