We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a fast paced commercial refurbishment project. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands on supervisor with strong leadership skills and a solid mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programme targets are achieved
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with company and site procedures
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site
- Monitor materials, deliveries, and workforce productivity
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance
- Assist with commissioning and project handover where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial projects
- Background in commercial refurbishment projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical building services
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification desirable
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence required
