Civils Foreman – Substation Location: Kent Rate: DOE Start Date: Immediate Contract: Long-term Civils Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Foreman to join a major substation project in Kent. This is a long-term opportunity for a Civils Foreman with a strong background in groundworks, concrete and civil engineering, ideally with previous experience working on substations or energy infrastructure projects. The Role: * Supervising day-to-day civils and groundworks activities * Managing gangs and subcontractors on site * Overseeing earthworks, drainage, ducting and concrete works * Managing equipment and materials on site * Supervising foundations, bases and associated substation infrastructure * Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to specification * Reading and working from drawings and specifications * Completing site paperwork and daily records * Coordinating with the Site Manager and wider project team * Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality Requirements: * Proven experience as a Civils Foreman or General Foreman * Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering * Substation, HV, utilities or energy infrastructure experience is highly desirable * Experience managing gangs and subcontractors * Ability to read construction drawings * CSCS * SSSTS or SMSTS * First Aid * Strong health & safety awareness The Package: * Immediate start * Long-term contract * Major substation project * Kent location * Competitive rate DOE If you are an experienced Civils Foreman with a groundworks, substation or energy infrastructure background and are available immediately, please apply with your CV or contact us directly for more information
