Groundworks Supervisor / Foreman – Finishing Works
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing with follow-on projects across Sussex & the South East
We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor / Foreman to manage finishing works on a residential groundworks project based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable supervisor looking for long-term continuity of work, with future projects already secured across Sussex and the South East.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing all finishing works on a residential groundworks site
- Overseeing daily site operations and coordinating labour
- Ensuring works are completed to programme and specification
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site quality
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and groundworks teams
- Completing daily records, progress updates, and snagging works
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor / Foreman
- Strong knowledge of residential finishing works, including:
- Paving, kerbs, edgings
- Drainage finishes and chambers
- Final levels, topsoiling, and external works
Desirable:
- Ability to bring x2 experienced groundworks operatives, forming a 3-man gang
- Own basic hand tools
- Previous experience working on volume residential developments
