My client are a civil engineering specialist. They are looking to onboard a crane supervisor to help deliver an ongoing infrastructure scheme being delivered in Hampshire.

Crane supervisor responsibilities:

  • Ensure all lifting operations are properly planned, including risk assessments, method statements, and lift plans.
  • Monitor and control crane operations to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.
  • Ensure all lifting activities comply with relevant health, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Verify crane condition, load weight, lifting accessories, and ground conditions before lifting begins.
  • Communicate with crane operators, slingers/signallers, and other personnel involved in the lift to ensure coordination.
  • Keep accurate records of crane inspections, maintenance, and certifications.
  • Have the authority and responsibility to halt operations if any unsafe conditions are identified.
  • Provide guidance to team members and ensure everyone involved is competent and properly trained.

Crane supervisor requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Blue CPCS – All duties// All types.
  • Proven experience in a crane supervisors role.
  • Full UK driving licence.
