We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile renewable energy project, supporting the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all electrical installation works on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Oversee subcontractors and electrical trades teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, site procedures, and quality standards
- Coordinate daily activities with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and other trades
- Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS briefings, and site inspections
- Review drawings, technical documentation, and installation schedules
- Support commissioning activities and fault finding where required
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and permit systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on industrial, energy, utilities, or BESS projects
- Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and cable installation
- SSSTS / SMSTS preferred
- ECS / JIB Gold Card desirable
- 18th Edition advantageous
- First Aid at Work preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
