Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major heavy civils and water infrastructure project in Chichester. The works involve a cofferdam backfill, clean water pipework installation, and associated heavy civils works across a long-term programme of projects.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day project delivery, ensuring programme, safety, and quality targets are achieved
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Coordinate project resources including labour, plant, and materials
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with health & safety requirements
  • Drive programme performance and commercial awareness on site

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering heavy civils or water infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in utilities, pipelines, or water/civils environments
  • SMSTS
  • Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC)
  • CSCS Card
