An experienced Site Manager is required for an industrial new build development based in Essex. This is an immediate start opportunity, working on the construction of new industrial packages from groundworks through to completion.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily site operations on a new build industrial scheme
  • Managing subcontractors, labour, and site logistics
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
  • Liaising with the Project/Contracts Manager on progress, programme, and any site issues
  • Monitoring quality control and snagging throughout the build
  • Chairing site meetings, toolbox talks, and inductions
  • Maintaining accurate site records, diaries, and reports

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build industrial/commercial packages
  • Strong knowledge of groundworks, steel frame, cladding, and fit-out processes
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid at Work
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to start immediately
  • Own transport preferred due to site location
