Role & Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations for groundworks packages
- Supervising groundworkers, plant operators, and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Coordinating with the main contractor, engineers, and site management
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping
- Ordering materials and managing site paperwork
- Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Manager
- Strong background in all aspects of groundworks (drainage, foundations, roads, externals, etc.)
- SMSTS (or SSSTS depending on project)
- Valid CSCS card
- First Aid at Work (preferred)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple trades
