Site Manager – Groundworks Package | Sheffield | Immediate Start We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a groundworks package on a busy construction project in Sheffield, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and hands-on Site Manager to take responsibility for delivering all aspects of groundworks on a live site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role will involve managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, and driving progress in line with programme requirements. The successful candidate will be confident in managing day-to-day operations on a groundworks package, including foundations, drainage, externals, and associated infrastructure works, while maintaining strict control of health, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Managing all on-site activities for the groundworks package * Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification * Maintaining full compliance with HSE regulations and site procedures * Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates * Liaising with project managers, engineers, and client representatives * Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings * Ensuring high standards of quality control and site presentation Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineering * Strong knowledge of foundations, drainage, externals, and infrastructure works * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications * Strong leadership and organisational skills * Ability to manage fast-paced site environments and subcontractor teams Location: Sheffield Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing / long-term opportunity available If you are an experienced Site Manager available for an immediate start in Sheffield, please apply today with your CV and availability
