About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical works on a high-profile commercial project. You’ll be responsible for managing all on-site electrical activities, ensuring installation quality, safety compliance, and timely delivery of works in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all electrical works on site, including directly employed electricians and subcontractors
  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure accurate installation
  • Plan, manage, and monitor progress to meet programme milestones
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of quality and compliance
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and other trade leads to coordinate site activities
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times – review RAMS, ensure PPE compliance, and promote a safe working environment
  • Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning processes; review documentation and sign-offs
  • Manage snagging, defect resolution, and handover documentation
  • Maintain accurate daily and weekly site reports, labour records, and material usage logs
  • Identify potential risks, delays, and technical issues, escalating where required

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects
  • Proven track record managing electrical installation teams on large-scale sites
  • Valid ECS Gold Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site procedures
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
