We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Groundworks Project Manager for a long-term, ongoing project based in Bradford.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing groundworks operations from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for groundworks packages
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Monitor progress, programme, and costs
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior management
- Produce site reports and manage project documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience managing groundworks and civil engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, and infrastructure works
- SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid preferred
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on a freelance basis
