My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a major HS2 scheme in Brackley, with an immediate start available.

The role will focus on drainage and structures, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a strong heavy civils background.

Site Manager Responsibilities

  • Toolbox talks
  • Client liaison
  • Stakeholder liaison

  • Managing day-to-day site operations
  • Supervising subcontractors and site teams
  • Managing the delivery of drainage and structural works
  • Overseeing reinforced concrete and associated civils works
  • Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
  • Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
  • Overseeing quality control, inspections and as-built records
  • Supporting the Project Manager with programme delivery and reporting

Site Manager Requirements

  • Black or Gold CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • Previous experience managing major infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects
  • Experience delivering drainage and structures is essential
  • Previous HS2 experience would be advantageous
  • Strong civils background
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
  • Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
  • IT literate
  • Full UK driving licence
