We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for an immediate start on a busy civils and groundworks project in Bournemouth.
Rate: £250 – £300 per day - DOE
Status: Outside IR35
The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing groundworks and civil engineering projects, with the ability to oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely and on programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site activities
- Supervising labour and subcontractors
- Coordinating plant, materials and logistics
- Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
- Conducting toolbox talks and site inspections
- Liaising with clients, engineers and project teams
- Monitoring progress and maintaining programme targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Groundworks Site Manager
- Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and roads
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
