The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Bishop Auckland. This is a long-term role offering a full year of work on a well-resourced civils project, covering road construction, drainage, structures and associated works.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways, drainage, kerbs and associated civils
- Completing QA documentation, as-builts and site records
- Providing technical support to the Site and Project Managers
- Checking drawings and resolving engineering queries
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work meets specification
- Upholding all site health & safety requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience on highways / civils projects
- Proficient with Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of drainage, earthworks and road construction
- CSCS card (essential)
- Available to start 1st December
