RTL Group are supporting a major tier 1 contractor in their search for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a UK Infrastructure business. This role carries full commercial responsibility for the successful delivery of a major project, working closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager and wider construction team. The successful candidate will drive commercial performance, manage risk, and maximise project returns while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead and integrate the project commercial strategy, adapting it as the project develops
- Work collaboratively with the project and construction teams, providing commercial influence and challenge where required
- Take full ownership of commercial and contractual matters, acting as the commercial representative for the business
- Prepare tenders, analyse submissions, select appropriate subcontractors and finalise subcontract orders
- Commercially manage projects through to Final
