I am working alongside a civil engineering contractor who are operating heavily across the Severn Trent framework. They are looking to on-board a foreman to help deliver and oversee works across multiple water treatment, pumping station and sewage treatment works across the Midlands.

Foreman responsibilities:

  • Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.
  • Putting labour to work and allocating duties.
  • Site supervision.
  • Managing health and safety compliance.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed site records.
  • Site inductions, risk assessments and toolbox talks.
  • Driving compliance.
  • Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Foreman requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • CSCS Card - (Gold or above).
  • SSSTS/ SMSTS.
  • First aid.
  • Previous experience within the water sector.
  • IT literate.
  • Full UK driving licence.
