We are currently looking for a reliable Electrical Mate to support electricians on a commercial construction project in London. The successful candidate will assist with electrical installation works and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting electricians with installation of containment (trunking, conduit, cable tray)
- Pulling and routing electrical cables
- Installing lighting, sockets, and small power under supervision
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Following site health and safety regulations
- Supporting testing and commissioning activities where required
Qualifications:
- Valid ECS Card (issued through the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certificate
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Mate or Improver
- Basic electrical tools and PPE
- Ability to work well within a team on construction sites
